Actually, readers back in the 1930s might have confused the two! For a time back there, BOTH NRAs were officed in the same DC building. Every day after mail delivery they got together to exchange the mail that had been wrongly delivered. The National Recovery Administrative gave the other NRA all the mail it had received about guns, and the National Rifle Association gave it all the mail it had received about the economic situation.
